The Vision of Bands founder Ollie Usiskin and the other band members , distinct from trad’ ‘Tributes’, is to channel the spirit of Jeff’s approach to his music style . His songbook and chronology covered rockabilly roll, British blues, psychedelia, R n B Rock, classic soul, funk, jazz rock fusion, 80s funk, pop and beyond. Entry points and collaborations being many over 60 years, presents opportunities for variety and expression beyond most acts revisiting artists’ expected set, performance and persona.
Instrumentals from classic LPs like “Wired”, Blow by Blow” and “Jeff Beck’s Guitar Shop” including Beck’s Bolero, Led Boots, Cause We’ve Ended as Lovers, Blue Wind, Scatterbrain, Stratus plus songs with The Yardbirds, Jeff Beck Group (with Rod Stewart) and from soul and blues references, Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield and Freddie King.
