Your Data

All orders placed for events at The Harlington, including those made by phone, online, and in person, are processed through Ticketsolve (our Box Office system) and Global Payments (our payment processing system). Global Payments are a highly trustworthy online card processor, compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Version 3.22 (the highest level of compliance) and accredited with the Account Information Security certification by VISA. We will never store any of your bank details on any of our systems.

If you choose to opt in for our mailing list, some of your details will also be shared with MailChimp, and you will receive a monthly newsletter by email to inform you of any upcoming shows relevant to your interests. You can choose to unsubscribe from this mailing list at any time by following the link at the bottom of the newsletter, by calling the Box Office on 01252 811009, or by emailing Customer Services at customerservices@fleet-tc.gov.uk. This will delete your email address from MailChimp’s system. You may also re-subscribe at any time by emailing or calling the Box Office, or by clicking here.

 

Information We Collect

The Harlington may collect, store, or use any of the following information:

  • Details of your previous orders or transactions
  • Any information you provide for the purposes of registering with us
  • Any information you provide to subscribe to our email newsletters
  • Information about your computer and website visit – e.g. IP address, browser type, length of visit, and number of page views. None of these things can be used to identify an individual user
  • Any other information you may choose to send us
  • Access requirements for Music on the Views – information that you provide us for an essential companion ticket.

 

How We Will Use This Information

We at The Harlington may use this data to contact you with any relevant information regarding shows you have booked – for example, in the event that one of our shows is cancelled, we will contact everyone who has booked tickets for that show to make them aware and potentially arrange refunds.

If you choose to opt-in to our mailing list when providing your details, we may contact you with information about further events and services which we believe may be of particular interest to you – you can choose to opt out of this at any time. Please note that we will never contact you by phone to advertise future events. Phone calls will only be made if we need to contact customers with urgent information.

We will use it to deal with any requests you make or content that you have submitted to us. If you have completed an Essential Companion Scheme we will note this in your customer record.

 

Cookies

As part of our ticket system, it is necessary for us to use cookies on our website. A cookie is a text file sent between a web server and browser. The file is sent back to the server each time the browser requests a new page from the server, which allows the server to identify and track the browser.

The cookies on our website are used to collect information to improve the usability of our site and for marketing purposes. They also allow our website to recognise your computer in future visits, and ensure that our website is displaying correctly. Cookies are necessary to use our ticket booking system, however they are only temporary, and most will disappear when your session has ended. We cannot be responsible for any cookies belonging to third party websites, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.


We may also use google analytics, which uses cookies stored on users’ computers to analyse and produce reports on the use of our website. The Harlington will not use the statistical analytics tool to track or to collect any personally identifiable information of visitors to our site. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source as part of our use of the Google statistical analytics tool. The Harlington will not link, or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user. We use analytics data to learn from the past so that we can make future improvements to our marketing efforts and our customer’s online experience. This information is stored by Google. Disclosure Of Information

Information transmitted via the internet is not completely secure. The Harlington will always do our best to protect your personal data, however we cannot guarantee the safety of any information transmitted to us via our website, and so information provided to us is done so at the user’s risk. Please also be aware that The Harlington may need to hand over relevant information to the authorities in accordance with the law, in which case we shall do so to comply with judicial proceedings.
